Prem 1s

Ray Kean

Prem 2s

John Hunter

Senior

Denise Palmer

Colts

Broom Harris

Supporters

James Hogg / Tristan Ritchie / Chase French

RECIPIENT

Hogg, Ritchie & French.

Colourful characters seen at the club, fanatical supporters and we believe responsible for bringing the live eel to a few games – which was widely or wildly reported across the local media!

Trevor Hands Trophy (Outstanding contribution on and off the field)

Prem 1s

Jared Campbell

Senior

Chris Aitken

Colts

Nathan Winter

Supporters

Brendon ‘Burger’ O’Brien; Keith Shields

Whilst we felt that all nominees had made outstanding contributions toward the club, we felt this years recipient had made great contribution over many years and in addition to his Senior Club commitments each week, is now involved with Junior rugby.

RECIPIENT

Brendon O’Brien

Brendon has been on the Senior committee for many years and is the Immediate past President.  In addition to being part of the Senior committee, he is the building convener and the Club’s “Mr Fix it”.  In addition to his weekly contribution on Saturday afternoons, he also coaches a Junior rugby team and is part of the Junior committee.

Gareth Pickford Trophy (Club person of the year)

Prem 1s

Steve Quinn

Prem 2s

Keith Kippenberger

Senior

Keith Junior

Colts

Kippy

RECIPIENT

KEITH KIPPENBERGER

Presidential Note: Whilst Keith clearly deserves this award outright for the second year running, Lynley’s contribution needs mentioned: Corporate box sandwiches each time, plus on ‘Finals Day’ she ‘volunteered’ to wash and dry a shirt for Charlie O’Connell so he could look like a captain should!

W G McNair Trophy (Player bringing most credit to the club)

Prem 1s

Jason McDonald

Prem 2s

Senior

Allan Cookson (it was his shirt that Lynley washed)

Colts

Charlie O’Connell

Supporters

Hayden Parker

RECIPIENT

CHARLIE O’CONNELL

With respect to the other nominees, the Committee felt that Charlie has Champion all over him; how he plays the game – hard and fair and leads by example; he has the respect of not only his team, but also the rest of the club.  His profile within the greater community, especially as captain indeed we felt brings great credit to the Club.
